Flash! Tarus has developed a new 6 Axis Portable QuarterScale Model Milling Machine capable of cutting complete 1/4 scale autos as well as full size instrument panels. We have temporarily added to the site a very impressive, but large, video of the prototype in action. We will be providing a newer, more managable, version of the video as well as a brochure shortly. Tarus
is located near Detroit, which has given Tarus an edge in
the development of specialized machines for use in the Automotive
Industry Design
and Styling Studios. In fact, Tarus built the first Portable
Claymilling Machine in 1983 upon the request of General Motors
Design. We have continuously refined our machines and our
software based on the availability of new technology and customer
recommendations.

We
have several types of these machines to meet the needs of our
customers.
Tooling; To get the most from our machines we provide a wide assortment of tooling. We are looking into allowing our customers to order tooling online. In the meantime, please consult our Tooling pdf. There is an order form included which you can fax to us here at Tarus.
(The tooling pdf is temporarily offline as we are updating pricing information. We apologize for any inconvenience.)
