ISO accredited Calibrations:

Tarus Calibration Department offers a full range of calibration services and is an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accredited calibration laboratory. We offer calibration services for all TARUS CMM's and CNC machines. Your machine will be calibrated by a fully trained and highly skilled Tarus Metrologist.

We are happy to provide superb calibration service to our valued customers so they can maintain the highest level of performance for their machines. Our Metrologists perform preventative maintenance (per our ISO procedures), mechanical adjustments for geometry errors and repeatability checks, so that the machine is in top physical condition prior to any software compensation.

We use the Renishaw XL-80 & ML-10 Gold Standard Ultra High Precision Laser System and other high precision instruments that are fully certified and traceable to N.I.S.T to perform high quality calibrations.

Utilizing the Renishaw XL-80 & ML-10 Gold Standard Laser System and proprietary Tarus compensation software, the machine is run through a series of tests, which are used to mathematically compensate for any remaining volumetric error.

Compensation for the following components is available: Linearity, Straightness, Squareness, and Twist. All accuracy verifications are in full compliance with ASME B89.4.1-1997, ANSI / NCSL Z540-2-1997. Following the calibration, a detailed Calibration Report and Certificate is provided.
